The Minnesota Climbers Association (MCA) currently has four open positions on the Board of Directors!

We're looking for individuals who are excited to get involved, take initiative, and see projects through from start to finish. A commitment to attending regular board meetings, collaborating with others, and following through on responsibilities is an important part of serving on the MCA Board.

Serving on the MCA Board is an opportunity to connect with fellow climbers, help protect and support the climbing areas we all love, and work alongside others who share a common goal. While board service comes with its challenges, it's also a wildly rewarding way to give back!

The MCA is evolving in new ways to better serve the climbing community. We encourage applicants from all over the state, and welcome new ideas and efforts to strengthen this organization and the community it serves.

Important Dates

  • Applications Open — October 15th - November 15th

  • MCA Board Reviewing Applications — Nov. 16th to Nov. 22nd

  • Applicant interview (Phone call/Virtual) —  Nov. 23rd through Dec. 6th

  • Applicant selections — Week of December 7th

  • Nomination decisions shared — December 14th
